Homework and Lots of It!

Okay, I know I've been a bad blogger and haven't posted anything exciting as of late. However, I recently started college and my professors have been more than happy to give me many pages of reading, papers to write and questions to answers.  On top of it all its only the first week still!

Anyways to update some of my previous posts:

My quiver received Grand Champion at out county fair and Special Merit at the State Fair! 

Also I decided not to continue the DAL due to lack of time.  But I have made many more things since I last posted.  And of course I have no pictures... Typical, I know.  But I plan to post those after I finish my paper.  It will my reward to myself :)

Summer Fun :)

I am sorry that I haven't been posting for a while now, but I have been vacationing in San Diego.  It is wonderful having humid free weather for once compared to the Midwest which is always humid.

Anyways I have been quite busy swimming, shopping, and of course crafting.  At the local yarn shop here called The Needleworks I bought some beautiful Cascade Lana Bambu yarn.  I needed a simple project so I'm making my Simple Hipster Purse with it.  Though I plan on lining this one and adding a pocket to the front.  I'll post photos once it's finished.

Also, close by to where I'm staying is this bead warehouse called South Sun.  So being the crafty person I am, I had to visit.  Unable to resist I bought a variety of beads, wire, and clasps.  I've ended up making bracelets for my sister, a few other people, and myself.  Here are some photos of my creations.
